    Every year about this time, for the past couple of decades,  promoter Marvin Getman produces an event he calls the “Holiday Antiques, Vintage, and Decorative Arts Show, Including Book and Paper Row.” It takes place in the venerable Shriner’s Auditorium in Wilmington, Mass, just a few miles west of Boston – somewhere north of a swap meet, but way south of the Winter Antiques Show. The 90-odd “antiques and design” dealers (mostly mom & pops) are supplemented by a dozen or so raggedy book and paper dealers, and the resulting show is always funky, junky, and fun.
