Oliver is new to magic but he wants to do a rehearsal so he can perform at the wedding.  His bunny talks talks to him.  It's a magic bunny.  He comes up with a great idea!

Puffin Books and Edelweiss let me read this book for review (thank you).  It will be published May 12th.

He's going to saw the box in half and then bring the man out, unhurt.  So he goes to the magic store to buy the trick and props and find out how.  They buy the cheapest unit since that is all the money they have.  He's going to do the trick at the rehearsal dinner.

There is all kinds of activity and people there, but the trick works perfectly.  Until the second half is opened and it's empty!  Where did Simon go?

They frantically search and then get a ransom note.  Who could have captured Simon?

This book is busy, all the characters are interesting, and it's fun to read.  Wait until you see how they manage to find Simon...
