About the Event
Fair attendees will find a variety of books and ephemera ranging from rare travel books to literary first editions, paper Americana to historic account books and manuscripts, fine letter press printing to unusual small press publications, mystery & science fiction to limited editions and signed books. Also featured will be handmade journals, art books, artist books, philosophy & esoterica, limited edition wood engravings, zines, and early printed books. Book artist Sarah Horowitz will deliver the keynote address: What Baba Yaga Taught Me: Wisdom from the Wild Witch of the East on Friday, December 2nd at 4pm in the Workroom / Theater at the Community Art Trust. Horowitz, a graduate of Hampshire College, returns to the Connecticut River Valley to launch her newest artist book Baba Yaga, a limited edition of 40 copies that she illustrated with gouache hand colored etchings.
