Hi,

We’re booksellers in the UK and have had an order on our chrislands site seemingly from someone in the US armed forces with this address: PSC 76

Box 7816, APO AP 93619, APO AP

Armed Forces Pacific, 00000

The credit doesn’t work, and I tried phoning but that didn’t work either, it’s posdible there was a missed digit in card number, but had no reply from emails, snd he wrote to me to ask why we cancelled his order.

Assuming we can sort out the credit card, does anyone know if you can send parcels from UK to the States without a zip code or a named State?

Edward Oakley The Magazine of Architecture, Perspective, & Sculpture in Five Parts 1733

I would appreciate any thoughts/information on price for this folio sized book, either through knowledge of past auctions, sales or experience. I have only found institutional holdings.

This copy is the 2nd edition dated 1733 and lacks 4 of the 97 plates. I have just had it rebound in reverse calf with the remains of the original leather boards laid down.

Thank you

Rob Bradley

McGraw-Hill First Edition Later Printing?

I have a copy of "Portrait in Oil" by Hartzell Spence, McGraw-Hill, 1962. Underneath the words "First Edition" is the number 60075. Is this an indication of a later printing? I see that McGraw-Hill states in the First Edition Identification book that they do use a number line to indicate subsequent printings, but this isn't the typical 1-10 line you normally see. Could this indicate a 6th printing from 1975? The book does look a bit more recent than 1962, but there is no ISBN found on the jacket or book anywhere. Thanks.
