CODE OF ETHICS The Independent Online Booksellers Association is an international trade association founded in 1999 for the purpose of ensuring the preservation of traditional bookselling values in the face of rapid developments in the world of online bookselling. Terms and conditions of sale, including return policies, shall be clearly stated when offering any items for sale. These terms and conditions may be modified by mutual consent between member and customer. Members will be familiar with the correct usage of the generally accepted terms of the book trade and will apply them accurately in the conduct of their business. Members will provide a thorough and accurate description of all items offered for sale, noting appropriate bibliographic details, all significant defects, and all restorations or sophistications. Members agree to a policy of guaranteed customer satisfaction. Items may be returned within a reasonable period of time, and a full refund will be issued upon safe receipt of the item. The member will cover return shipping costs if there was an error in the listing. Items lost or damaged during shipping from the member to the customer are the responsibility of the member. Members will make every effort to keep their listings current. Items that have been sold should be removed as quickly as possible. In 1857 Rosti traveled to New York. Then he traveled to Venezuela and Mexico, where he photographed the plantations, towns, general scenery, ,ancient tree at Popotla, and numerous places of interest in Mexico City. In 1861 Rotsi published a full account of the tour, “Uti Emlékezetek Amerikából”. The book was lavishly illustrated with lithographs and engravings by Gusztáv Klette, D. Freemann, and Johann Moritz Rugendas. The majority of the lithographs are based on Rosti’s original photographs and rendered by Gustav Klette. Since the limitations of photograph technology of the time, it was impossible to capture moving figures. So, Rosti and/or Klette added human figures to the drawings that were then prepared for making the lithographs. Petrius Victorius' notes are also praised, he was the editor for this edition. Graesse praises this edition for its elegant presentation of Aeschylus, and the quality of the manuscripts the printers consulted. Moss cites this edition as printed in Paris, Adams attributes it to Geneva. Moss refers to Etienne's typography as accurate and elegant, with an important correction to the Libation Bearers contained in this edition. Moss also awards Victorius high marks on the quality of his notes. Aeschylus' tragedies are the oldest surviving from Ancient Greece. With powerful, moving themes and subject matter, they are still regularly performed in theatres around the world today. Housed in clamshell box. A beautiful and fitting binding on one of the Grabhorn Shakespeare series with colored woodblock illustrations by Mary Grabhorn. A bold design using material that speaks to the time—stone and metal. The hand-painted endpapers evoke the night sky and have an iridescence that is dynamic when one opens the cover, the light catching the paint shifts as the board moves. While boldly monochromatic, what color there is in the binding, the leather onlays and the painted paper, picks up the pastels of Grabhorn's illustrations. The coronal design speaks to the backdrop of this play, Henry IV holding onto power amidst treachery and Prince Hal's coming into the crown. Joseph Sickman (Jo) Corsen (1853–1911) was a poet, musician, and composer from Curaçao, known as the “Father of Papiamento Poetry.” Corsen also composed waltzes, led several orchestras and served as the organist for the Jewish community, showcasing his multifaceted talents. While he primarily wrote in Spanish—many works appeared in Notas y Letras —his legacy in the Dutch Antilles rests on his contributions to Papiamento literature. This volume brings together almost all of his poems, including three poems in Papiamento: Ata Nubia! , Roeman di Caridad , and of course Atardi , the pinnacle of Corsen’s work and the most iconic poem in the literary history of the Dutch Antilles. First published on 27 September 1905 in La Cruz , Atardi captures the melancholic beauty of twilight.
