Descriptive Catalog of the Warren Classical Collection of Bowdoin College

A rare, slim (16 pp) catalog of a collection of Greek and Roman antiquities donated to Bowdoin College, Maine, by Edward P. Warren, prominent collector of antiquities, circa early 1930s. In Good condition with tight binding and fairly bright, clean pages. Some edge wear and rubs to covers, light roll to spine from shelving, very light sunning to spine, small pencil notation on title page. Also on title page is the inked signature of Thomas Means (1889-1961), likely owner of the volume. Means was born in New Haven, CT, graduated from Yale, and was a professor at Bowdoin in the Classics Department. Descriptive listing, no photos or illustrations. Black wraps (softcover); 19.5 cm. [15]
