Morocco lightly scuffed, spine joints rubbed, the bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear. very good.

A delightful Leadenhall Press reprint of an 1811 rhymed version of "Beauty and the Beast" attributed to Charles Lamb, including two pages of music. Lang’s introduction discusses the origin of the “Beauty and the Beast” Tale. This original differs greatly from the popular Disney adaptation.
